Mr. DJ — Live song requests
Terms of Service
Effective date: September 26, 2026
Summary: Mr. DJ lets guests request songs and lets a host approve them into the host’s Spotify queue. Hosts are responsible for their events and for using Spotify within Spotify’s own rules. Guests agree to keep requests civil. We provide the service as-is, can suspend abusive accounts, and may offer paid plans with the billing terms described below. Using Mr. DJ means you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1.Who We Are and Who These Terms Cover
Mr. DJ (the “Service”) is operated by LowLevL LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) and is available at oeoeo.me and requests.oeoeo.me. These Terms apply to:
- Hosts — anyone who signs in with a Spotify account to create and run an event.
- Guests — anyone who joins an event by QR code or join code to request a song.
By using the Service in either role you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2.Eligibility
- Hosts must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where they live, and must hold a Spotify account in good standing.
- Guests must be at least 13 years old. The Service is not directed at children under 13.
- If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3.Spotify and Music Licensing
Mr. DJ is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Spotify. The Service works by connecting to the host’s own Spotify account through Spotify’s public developer platform.
- Hosts must comply with the Spotify Terms of Use at all times. A Spotify Premium subscription is required to use the queue feature.
- Spotify licenses its consumer service for personal, non-commercial use. Mr. DJ is designed for private events such as house parties, birthdays, weddings, and gatherings among friends. If you play music in a commercial setting, such as a bar, restaurant, shop, or ticketed event, you are solely responsible for obtaining any public performance or business music licenses required where you are. We do not provide those licenses and make no representation that your use is licensed.
- Song data, album artwork, and search results are provided by Spotify and remain subject to Spotify’s rights and terms.
- Spotify may change or withdraw its developer platform at any time, which may affect or interrupt the Service. We are not responsible for changes made by Spotify.
4.Host Responsibilities
- You are responsible for every event you create, including what is played, who can join, and how you moderate requests.
- You are responsible for keeping your Spotify credentials and your Mr. DJ session secure. Sign out of shared devices when you are done.
- You must not share join codes or QR codes in a way that lets people outside your event request songs, and you must not use one account to run events in more than one location at the same time.
- The “Powered by Mr. DJ” notice on guest and monitor pages may be hidden only where your plan allows it. The “Search powered by Spotify” notice is required by Spotify and cannot be removed.
5.Guest Conduct
Guests may use the name and note fields to identify themselves and add a short message. Anything you type may be shown to the host and displayed on the event monitor and on other guests’ phones. You agree not to submit content that is:
- Harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory
- Sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate for the event’s audience
- Someone else’s personal information, or an impersonation of another person
- Spam, advertising, or an attempt to disrupt the event or the Service
Hosts can reject any request and block any guest at their sole discretion. Blocked guests are not entitled to any explanation.
6.Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Circumvent request limits, blocks, content filters, or any other control in the Service
- Access the Service by automated means, scrape it, or send requests at a volume a person could not
- Probe, scan, or test the Service for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or interfere with its operation
- Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or white-label the Service except as your plan expressly allows
- Use the Service for anything unlawful
7.Plans, Billing, and Cancellation
The Service may be offered in a free plan and one or more paid plans. Plan names, prices, and limits are described on our pricing page, which forms part of these Terms. When paid plans are available:
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. Payment is handled by a third-party payment processor; we never see or store your full card details.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep your paid features until then. We do not offer refunds for partial months, except where required by law.
- If a payment fails, an event already in progress may continue for a short grace period so your party is not cut off. New events are blocked until the account is paid up again.
- Plan limits, such as events per month, guest requests per month, event duration, and one active event at a time, are enforced automatically. Reaching a limit is not a defect in the Service.
- We may change prices or plan limits with at least 30 days’ notice by email or a notice in the Service. Changes apply from your next billing period.
- Prices exclude any taxes, which are added where applicable.
8.Your Content and Our Rights
- You keep whatever rights you have in the names, notes, and event names you enter. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service.
- The Service itself, including its software, design, and the Mr. DJ name and logo, belongs to LowLevL LLC and is protected by intellectual property law. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service as intended; they do not transfer any ownership.
- We may use aggregated, de-identified usage data to improve and promote the Service.
9.Suspension and Termination
- You may stop using the Service at any time. Hosts may ask us to delete their account and event history as described in the Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or terminate access, or end an event, without notice if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, are abusing the Service, or are creating legal risk for us or for others.
- We may discontinue the Service or any feature at any time. If we discontinue a paid plan, we will refund any prepaid amount for the unused part of the billing period.
- Sections 8, 10, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.
10.Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that any song will be added to a queue or played, or that Spotify’s platform will remain available. Your event is your responsibility; keep a backup playlist.
11.Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LowLevL LLC and its members, officers, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12.Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LowLevL LLC from any claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Service, your events, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of Spotify’s terms or any music licensing requirement.
13.Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and, for hosts with a paid plan, announced by email or in the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
14.Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally.
15.General
- These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the pricing page, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
- If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
